Renee Elise Goldsberry got Nominated for Best Supporting Actress for the Daytime Emmys

The photo above is at the ABC Daytime/Broadway Charity event that happened recently. Renee is shown with [left to right] Trever St. John who portrays Todd Manning, Kristen Alderson who portrays Starr Manning, Renee who is the wonderful Evangeline Williamson, and Matt Metzer who portrays Duke Buchanon. Someone on the ABC Message Board said Metzer was on American Idol...since I don't watch that show I'll have to take their word for it.

Oh BTW...Renee was the only actor on One Life to Live to garner an Emmy nom....

YEAH!!!

AND....REG is finally moving out of the sandbox and away from the playground [in storyline] and moving towards GROWN AND SEXY land with her new storyline with Todd now kicking into gear.

If I can get my JET or John/Evangeline/Todd storyline going I'll be good to go. From the ABC Medianet pics it appears the DA Hugh Hughes is getting a bit big for his britches.

For those who don't know Todd Manning has recently been convicted for the murders of Margaret Cochran, affectionately known by fans as Crazy Ass Mags [CAM], and her unborn child, which was Todd's son since Mags raped him. Renee's character Evangeline is Todd's lawyer and one of the VERY FEW people, like of three, who believe he's innocent.

It has recently been revealed that Mags is alive and was being hidden by one Dr. Spencer Truman who wants Todd's ex-wife/fiance Blair Cramer, who believes Todd is guilty.

Spencer forced his ex-wife, Paige, to help him deliver CAM's baby via blackmail.

What blackmail you ask? Remember how I said Todd was convicted of CAM and their baby's murder? Well that's because two bodies were found, the woman's strangled, at the location of the last meeting of CAM and Todd. A DNA test was run matching the two to CAM and the baby.

Well, I'm sure you scratching your head going but CAM and the baby are alive.

Well, exactly...Spencer made it look like Paige and her boyfriend, the Commisioner of Police Bo Buchanon, set the whole thing up to make Todd look guilty. Their signatures are all over EVERYTHING...so it's not an idle threat...there's also the fact that Paige apparently murdered someone years ago and Spencer has the goods on that too.

Paige went to the prison the day of Todd's transfer to death row at a max-security prison and just says, "He set it all up" and told Todd not to give up hope but that she couldn't help him more than that. Todd is very upset by this because if she would tell what she knows he could go free. I wish Paige had also mentioned the fact that CAM was alive and so was his son but I suppose that would have been too considerate.

So....Van's ex, whom I normally refer to as That Man, LT John McBain is in charge of escorting Todd to his new prison.

Off topic That Man is a nutjob who has already had SEVERAL psychotic breaks if you ask me...ever since Van dumped his behind and he ran and hid behind the Red mess. Please reference the earlier Renee Elise Goldsberry post for background info on that storyline.

Well, their plane crashed. Todd is now on the run and managed to get a trooper uniform. Oh and before he escaped the plane crash he knocked That Man. Someone give Todd a prize for doing that!!!

















He goes to Blair, his sister Viki, and Van but it's Van who decides to not turn him in and hide him while they figure out how to prove his innocence. First though he went to Paige to try to get her to spill her guts but she refused...too bad her boyfriend, Commissner Bo and That Man no suspect she knows more than she's telling.



















Oh by the way the DA, Hughes, is taking this case REALLY personal and turning it into his own little crusade to recapture Todd and is walking around carrying guns.



















Oh yeah Hugh might be the son of the aforementioned Paige and Spencer which Paige gave up for adoption without Spencer ever knowing she was pregnant.

Todd and Van have always been close but now that both of their soulmates are essentially useless, That Man is demon ridden and Blair slept with Spencer [eww], will this adventure draw them even CLOSER??

So That Man and DA Hughes are going to lean on the lovely defense attorney to turn Todd in if he comes to her but Van is going to stick by her friend and take care of him as much as she can













Of course with Hugh wandering around openingly brandishing weapons she might not have much time.

Whew...this should be a great March...then again OLTL keeps disappointing me so maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up..

Why I will likely NEVER do New Years Eve in Times Square again..

One of my best friends Lamont [pictured above around 4am on New Years with me in my house] drove up to visit me for New Years from North Carolina. The original plan was to spend New Years in the Square and then head out to a club. He was originally supposed to bring his significant other with but instead brought our friend Amy, and his two cousins I didn't know but that was okay....the problem was that the cousins were 17 and 15 and most definately NOT club aged....so the plan was amended to just going to the Square although Lamont said he'd leave them outside the club or in the car. My response...the car will be in Jersey and what makes you think I will give my car keys to two children I don't know??

Okay so I drove into Hoboken, NJ and left my car at the Hoboken Train/Bus station. I take the Path into the city and get out at 33rd street and walk around Manhatten Mall a bit

Did I mention it started snowing on our way to Hoboken?

Then comes the next change in plan...Lamont wants to travel uptown to 155th street in Harlem to visit his Great Aunt...now this is all well and good except it was already 3pm we needed to get a spot in the Square....

Well we head on the D train up to 155th street...EXCEPT in the station there were fliers clearly stating that the D train would be skipping 155th street...so when get off at the stop before it, 145th street, I'm looking around for the C trains schedule because I'm fairly certain it would take up to 155th street...BUT the people I'm with [whom have NEVER used NJ/NY transist] insist we go up to street level and walk it.

Well thank goodness the snow had stopped....unfortunately it left ice and puddles EVERYWHERE and soon enough ALL of our feet were soaked....during a 10 block walk that is NOT a good thing

To skip the nightmare of that little side trip let's just say that we were on West 155th and WAY up on the hill when we needed to be on the bottom...luckily Lamont's cousin was willing to come get us...and we hung out there for a few hours before walking back to the 155th station to head to 42nd and 6th avenue: Times Square

I was bored there so I took a few pictures, here's a couple

Unfortunately this was around 830pm or so and a TON of blocks were already closed off. You see on New Years the cops close alot of the streets around the Square. Plus they only let in a certain number of people before they close that block off and you have to keep going until you get to a certain block because they won't let you in unless you a have reservation to a hotel or restaurant and they'll only let you in on that particular block [example if you have a reservation on 47th street don't try to get in down on 44th street because it ain't happening]

So guess what street we had to walk down to?

59th FREAKING STREET!!!! To say I was pissed is not saying enough...anyway we're walking and I'm like let me stop at a vendor or a restaurant and grab some hot chocolate or some food because it was really cold out there. I stop at a vendor on 46th street and grab a dog...I turn and they are NOWHERE to be found...so I shrug and start walking....

Around 56th I still hadn't seen them so I reach into the purse to pull out the mobile and call them and realize it's dead [it still won't charge up for some reason]

Well I finally get to an open block and it's 59th street, I cannot tell you how annoying it was to have to walk that far...17 freaking blocks to watch a ball drop

So I end up borrowing a phone from a nice boy in blue...NYPD blue that is...and find out that my they are on 59th too..and just barely made it in before the cops closed it up again....I find them waiting at the gate to walk up to 58th

We end up turning left and walk down another block to Broadway because Lamont was searching for a Western Union...and ended up getting blocked out again have to walk 4 blocks back up to 59th to get back in....

We end up stuck in the crowd around 57th street....15 blocks from the ball drop

We take pictures of the crowd because there's really nothing left to do but wait and get smushed

Eventually I get tired of the cold and declare that'd buy our dinner if we get out of the cold. I wanted to go to Cafe Europa but we go across the street to the Brooklyn Dinner...which a $15 per person min. absolutely insane if you ask me...

That was around 11pm...at 1159 I'm paying the check and running down the block...I get there when everyone is on the number 8 for the countdown....I took pictures but it's all blurry due to the crowd and lights

We ended up heading down Broadway because it was a mess all over the place and the police weren't letting us past 53rd BUT I got a few more pictures before we started walking. We were closest to the Port Authority station so I said forget about your PATH tickets were hoping on the 126 bus back to Hoboken..so we walked back up to Port Authority and got on a bus

Everytime I go to the city I tell myself to take pictures for the blog but I never do...I'm annoyed with myself because after 53rd street we just started having fun on our way to the station
Trying to catch a cab we ran into this guy from Philly named Antionus who was waiting outside one of the police precints in the area...apparently some girl he was with got arrested for fighting and then telling the cops to go do themselves while she was resisting arrest...he was told by the cops to get out of the station because he was VERY messed up...I mean he was so drunk was speaking incoherently at times...at the same time he was a VERY funny drunk so we were cracking up hanging out with him until we gave up on getting a taxi and just hoofed it back to Port Authority...by the time we managed to get to the bus waiting area I was VERY footsore....but what do you expect walking around in four inch stilletos for 9 hours... so we get back to the Hoboken bus terminal and I drive us on down the turnpike back to my house...around 4am, after taking the pictures ya'll saw at the top, I go to sleep...ONLY to be woken up by my phone ringing ALL night

In the end it was fun...but I don't like the cold and likely won't be doing it again...I much rather be in a hot club or IN MY WARM HOUSE!!!

Passions Red

Just thought I'd throw a nice picture up to keep the post from being too bland...you should know that I'm going to post up some pictures of Lindsey Hartley aka Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald-Crane for this post because I love her...though Theresa is being an obssesive psycho


I wish Theresa would decide to forget Ethan use all of her scheming to get her kids and a nice divorce settlement..move out of the mansion and get her own place....

The problem with that is the minute Theresa starts to ignore Ethan then he'll be obsessing over her...and I mean more than his stupid fantasies....

Okay so on to the actual topic of discussion: Passions Red...yesterday on the internet and today on Passions they revealed the identity of "Red." That's the mysterious Red in the picture below..Red = red nails [Lame I know]

Passions Red was a storyline that has played out online at http://passionsred.com and onscreen on the Passions television show.

Basically some chick has decided to torture and kill Alistair Crane...they kept her as a mystery character and just had the reveal today

Now this whole thing about her wanting to kill Alistair would be cool if THE ENTIRE TOWN OF HARMONY ALREADY DIDN'T WANT TO AND/OR HAS ALREADY TRIED TO KILL HIM!!!

As a matter of fact, they brought back the long thought dead/lost Crane Matriarch, Katherine, and Lopez-Fitzgerald Patriarch, Martin, back from the dead just so they could kill Alistair. Those two had actually run away together, gotten plastic surgery, moved to Mexico, and pretended to be Aunt and Uncle to the youngest L-F, Paloma, when Pilar [the F-L Matriarch] sent Paloma to live in Mexico....yes it's all very confusing

Worst Decision ever, in my opinion, although I think Martin and Katherine deserve each other seeing how BOTH of them abadoned their children when they left...Martin left Pilar with FIVE KIDS!!! What a jerk!

The point I'm making is that neither of them has sucessfully killed Alistair, nor anyone else who has tried for that matter

The one thing Red has on Alistair is that he apparently thinks she's dead...he attempted to fake her death only to discover she did die...turns out she turned the tables on him and faked her death again to get away from him

Oh yeah this person...we saw their corpse float into the L-F living room during the Tsunami...but considering this is a soap it could have been anothers corpse that she placed in her casket to cover her tracks

Oh yeah this person...was supposedly STABBED TO DEATH BY A FOUR YEAR OLD Sheridan Crane [pictured on the left]...yup guys it's.....

RACHEL....big surprise...NOT....

The most messed of thing about the big reveal though was that if you went to the website to say just review the other 19 chapters before the big reveal on today's show but didn't want to watch Chapter 20 and find out who it was early you would have been screwed because on the top of the page is a big link that says...WHO IS RACHEL! Good job NBC for screwing up the big online reveal....

No, I lied the worse thing about all this is that EVERYONE has been guessing Rachel or Faith for months

I wonder how Theresa did on today's show when she was locked in the nursery with Gwen...I hate Gwen...I heart Theresa...which is weird..but what can I say Gwen is a ***** who tries to steal her rival's children...weirdo..that keeps her in your life genius

How I spent my Christmas Weekend

Okay I have made it VERY clear that I don't care much for the holidays....normally not a big thing in my house but even less important this year since the hubby is deployed [he deployed while I deployed so I haven't seen him in a LOONNGG time]. To me the holidays just mean days off.

Anywho so on December 24th I still hadn't purchased any gifts and my Parents were driving up from South Carolina to visit me. So that day I was to be devoted to finish my preparations for their visit and buying gifts for the my nieces and my best friend, Mainny, kids...

I won't go into the nightmare of shopping on Christmas Eve but let me just say I walked in the store at 1145 and went home around 1800 [that 6PM]

After I FINALLY leave the store I stop at my best friend's house and drop her kid's gifts off...I'll come back to them later

So eventually my Parent make it and I cook dinner and we all go to sleep....the next morning I wrap any of the presents that didn't make it to the gift wrapping counter before they closed and let me tell you that was an experience in itself...a very unenjoyable one

So all the gifts are loaded in the car and be go to brave the traffic on the Turnpike. Last year was pretty good so although I was being very negative about the traffic to my Parent, before getting on the turnpike, I was actually pretty hopeful. Well, hope won out in the end because traffic was great up until I got near Newark [exits 13, 13A]. Well it was pretty bad so I did the only thing a sensible driver would do...I cut through once of those openings the cops use into the trucker side of the turnpike.....LOL

Anyway we got there and my nieces weren't there yet so my father [in-law] Carlos and I went over to their Mom's place, my sister [in-law] Monique, to pick them up. I really like Monique so we hung out there for awhile talking while the girls attempted to get dressed. When she told me about how much food she had made and still had I immediately went into "Feed Me" mode.

Apparently she had told her relatives that dinner was at 7pm....no one showed so she put the girls to bed and went to sleep....later on she hears a pounding on the door and goes to see who it is. It's her family...the thing is it was TWO O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING!!! They gave Monique some excuse about traffic in NY to which she responds they can come in but she isn't getting all that food back out.

So let's just say I made out like a bandit...ya'll better know I'm living off of her and my leftovers for quite awhile...no one in this house but me so there is no reason to cook...I usually sustain myself on cereal...

Anyway the girls, Carlos, and myself all head back to their apartment. The girls were going to open our presents [gifts were from the Hubby and myself together of course]. Unfortunately I was shopping as a form of retail therapy and some slight guilt. My husband and I missed both their birthdays due to deployments so I bought gifts for them to make up for that too.



Well this was the result...we only let them actually open one doll each [could you imagine the chaos otherwise??] and their Grandma [Mom in-law Myrna] will determine when they can open other ones after she sees how they handle the current ones

Due to the sheer number of gifts the girls recieved our gifts are staying at my Parents [in-laws] place



The rest of the day was all of us hanging out until Myrna left with her brother and the girls for the family house in the Poconos, which is where their Father lives [Brother in law].
